Recording Requirements

Recording Fees:

  • $30 flat fee per document
  • $3 for each additional liber & page reference on assignments and discharges of mortgage (first liber & page reference is included in the flat fee)
  • $5 tax certification fee for any document requiring it (Warranty Deeds, Sheriff’s Deeds, Land Contract Memorandums, etc.)
  • Documents received after 3:00 P.M. CST may be recorded the next business day.
